Orange Sherbet Popsicles

These simple popsicles taste a whole lot like the orange Push-Up Pops I remember from summers past, but they only have 5 ingredients, and you can make them anytime at home this summer. The only drawback is the absence of the unmistakable primary-colored polka-dot wrapper.

Orange Sherbet Popsicles
(Makes 5)

1 1/2 cups freshly squeezed juice (about 12 clementines or 5 oranges)
1/4 cup cream OR 1/4 cup plain whole milk yogurt
3 tbsp. cane sugar
2 tbsp. agave nectar
pinch of Maldon sea salt

Whisk all ingredients together well and pour mixture into popsicle molds. This recipe should make 5 pops, but it can easily be doubled. Plan to freeze them for at least a few hours and then briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds for easy removal of pops.

*By the way, we used this same recipe in making melon pops recently, and the only extra step is to blend the melon and strain it before adding the other ingredients.

  1. Hi, I would love to test this one. I'm more of a baker but I've also dabbled in ice cream/popsicle making too.

  2. Great! Thanks for stepping up. This is a great one during the summer, so we can just pretend that it's blistering hot outside.
